Ordering terms
Ordering with OrdaMate
OrdaMate lets you place pickup orders with restaurants in New Zealand. Each restaurant provides its menu, prepares your food and fulfils your pickup. Check the restaurant, address, items, options and pickup time before placing your order.
Prices and payment
Prices are in New Zealand dollars. Your total is the restaurant’s listed item and option prices plus one NZ$1 OrdaMate fee per order and the displayed card-processing charge. The checkout shows the total before payment. Restaurants are responsible for keeping their menu prices and information accurate.
Acceptance and collection
An order is sent to the restaurant after payment is confirmed. The restaurant must accept it before preparation begins. Follow the status in My orders and wait for “Ready for pickup” before collecting. Scheduled times are estimates; capacity controls do not guarantee an exact preparation time. Show your pickup code at collection.
Allergies and special requests
Contact the restaurant before ordering if you have an allergy or need to confirm ingredients. An item label or special request does not guarantee that food is suitable for your needs. Options shown in the menu are priced choices; notes are requests for the restaurant to review.
Cancellations and problems
You can cancel in My orders before acceptance. After acceptance, contact the restaurant or OrdaMate support. See the refund policy for how refund requests are handled.
Your account
Use accurate contact details and keep access to your sign-in account secure. Do not submit fraudulent orders, misuse support or attempt to access another person’s orders or restaurant. Accounts and listings may be suspended to address misuse.
Sample restaurants
Listings marked “Sample” only accept test orders. No money is charged and no food is prepared. Any marketplace-wide test mode is shown before ordering.
Consumer rights
These terms do not limit rights you have under New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act. Read the official consumer guarantees guidance.
